How does Ramadan affect your skin?

Ramadan is a fasting period for Muslims. No food is eaten between sunrise and sunset for a month. This is the ninth month of the Islamic year, a period when Muslims commemorate Muhammad receiving his first message from God. All these words are recorded in the Quran, but have you ever thought about how Ramadan affects your skin?

How do you take care of your skin during Ramadan?

During this fasting period it is allowed to use facial cleansers and creams, so that you can take good care of yourself. Since drinking during the day is not allowed, it is important that you hydrate your skin optimally. If you don't do this, you run a great risk of your skin drying out. So be conscious about your skincare, but also drink enough during the evenings.

Can you use skin care products during Lent?
